6th grade feature artist

After looking at the contemporary works of Brazilian Artist, Romero Britto, 6th Grade art students painted a stylized Vintage Camper in his style. Romero Britto is known for using bright colors, bold black lines, and popular images in his work. He is considered a Pop Artist because of the images he makes. Since Lagrange county is known for making RV’s and Campers, we used them as our Pop Art imagery.

Mr. Keiser narrowed down the project to 13 finalist. The final selection was made by Mrs. Leeper, since she is a fan and owns a vintage camper. The next featured artist from the Britto style camper is Alaina Miller. Alaina showed outstanding craftsmanship with her colorful paints, thick black lines, and creative invented textures. She showed a real mastery in completing this project. Awesome work, Alaina!
