For the 2020-21 school year, the state has updated their immunization requirements to include that students in grades 8-12 receive the hepatitis A vaccination series. In addition, students in grades 12 are required to have the second meningococcal vaccination (MCV4).
Please talk with your health care provider about these important vaccinations and contact your school nurse with any questions.
The LaGrange County Health Department has partnered with Franciscan Alliance to offer these immunizations locally to you free of charge.
Locations include: Monday, July 20,2020, at Shipshewana Fire Department from 1:00-6:30 pm.
Thursday, July 23, 2020, at Topeka Fire Department from 1:00-6:30 pm.
It is encouraged that you bring your vaccination records, ID, and insurance card(if you have them).
