JH XC STATE CHAMPIONS!

The Westview Junior High boys cross country team won the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP in Terre Haute on Saturday, beating the second place team by 33 points.  This is the 6th state championship in the last 7 years for the Westview Jr. High boys cross country team which is the most cross country state championships in Indiana Middle School history. Coach Don Williams noted, "This was a highly motivated and hard working team. The main point I tried to get across to the team this whole season was having confidence. I told the team that whenever someone has ability, knowledge of what they're doing, and confidence....they're unstoppable. It was fun to see the boys put that mantra on full display at the state meet. Really super proud of this group. "

The Westview Jr. High girls cross country team finished up an extremely successful season with a 6th place finish at the State Championship meet in Terre Haute.  Great season ladies! State meet results can be found at  https://timingmd.net/Results/xc/ms_10_3_2020/Race%20Length%20ms2race.html
