The 6th Graders recently completed work on their self-portraits. The portraits required for the students to use everything they have learned so far concerning Line, Shape, and Value. The students used a small black and white photo that Mr. Keiser had taken of them. They then used a grid to draw out the portrait in a much larger scale.
Due to the excellent work by the 6th graders, Mr. Keiser has decided to select one boy and one girl portrait for the next featured artist. Along with some help from our beloved Mrs. Leeper, Mr. Keiser has select Brian Yoder from Mr. Davis’ class and Marla Miller from Mr. William’s class.
Mr. Keiser would like to invite all faculty and staff to stop by the Art room anytime to see more amazing student work. Mr. Keiser continues to be impressed by the student body of Westview Elementary.
