NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING CONCERNING THE PROPOSED CONTRACT

BETWEEN WESTVIEW SCHOOLS

AND A SUPERINTENDENT

On January 8, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., the Westview School Corporation’s Board of School Trustees will meet at its administration building, 1545 South 600 West Topeka, Indiana, to discuss and hear from the public support for and objections to the proposed superintendent’s contract which will be effective from February 2, 2026 to June 30,2028.

Initially Proposed Contract Details

Annual Base Salary: $118,000; Annual Teacher Retirement Fund Contribution @ : $3,540; Annual 403(b) Plan Contribution: $7,000; Annual Group Health Insurance Premium. Contribution: $0 # ; Annual Long Term Disability Premium Contribution*: $495.00; Annual Term Life Premium Insurance Contribution (Basic Life and ADD)* : $260.00. Cellphone and technology stipend: $1,140.

* Indicates that Westview Schools’ contribution may be adjusted if the insurance carrier increases the premiums for same level of coverage.

@ The same percentage as contributed on behalf of teachers.

# The superintendent candidate has chosen not to participate in Westview Schools’ health plan.

Agreement Length: The proposed contract is for a term of 2 years and 5 months. The proposed contract can be canceled by the school board for reasons set out in Indiana statute. By mutual agreement, the superintendent and Westview Schools can cancel the proposed contract at any time.

Work Days: The superintendent receives 20 vacation days.

Annual Performance Raise: The superintendent will receive an annual salary increase equal in percentage to that received by other administrators if the superintendent achieves the rating of “Effective” or “Highly Effective.”

Increases: The school board shall annually review the superintendent’s performance.
