The students of Westview Elementary have been busy! During the second week of April, they collected over 54,000 aluminum cans! A local facility recycled the cans, and the proceeds, over $900, will be donated to Riley Hospital for Children.
Mr. Ryan Yoder’s class brought in the most cans this year, with a total of 9956. To reward students for their hard work, a school-wide drawing was held for a pizza party at each grade level. The Westview Elementary PTO will provide a pizza party for Mr. Miller’s 5th-grade class and Mrs. McCoy’s 6th-grade class. Good Job Westview Elementary!
