A great message from Miss Shaw about the impact our WORDS have on each other.... These fourth graders could NOT get rid of the damage caused by crumpling up a perfect piece of paper. What a valuable lesson! No matter how many times we apologize or how much regret we feel after saying UNKIND words, the damage has been done. WORDS can tear us apart or build us up. We have a choice. These students posted their papers on their lockers as a reminder of to speak encouraging words.

First grade celebrated Johnny Appleseed’s birthday with some delicious apple treats!
