We hope you had a great break! This is just a reminder that school resumes on Monday, January 8th. We're excited to see you and start the second semester!

Shipshewana's Lights of Joy (Blue Gate and Trading Place) donated a portion of their first night's earnings to all three Lagrange County public schools for the Boomerang Backpack program. We appreciate your donation! Also, thank you to Stephanie Oakley and Carolyn Schlabach, who implement this program at Westview.

Mid-term grades will be coming home with your student today.

This past week, McMillen Center and Shipshewana Fire Department came to teach MES first graders. McMillen taught students about being habit free while the fire department taught students about fire safety! Students learned a lot and had fun doing it!

Fall break is Thursday and Friday, October 19 and 20. Enjoy the days off! School is back on Monday, October 23, 2023.

Today at Westview Jr-Sr High School, two students approached school administrators after overhearing other students mention a weapon. The school went into immediate precautionary lockdown to investigate the information. Westview Elementary School was also placed into a precautionary lockdown. Upon a thorough investigation conducted by Westview’s Police Department, LaGrange Sheriff's Department, Topeka PD, Shipshewana PD, Wolcottville PD, and LaGrange PD, it was determined that no weapon existed on school grounds and the students were not in danger. We would like to thank the students who were proactive and followed our safety motto of “if you see something or hear something, say something.” We take all reports seriously to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Thank you again for the prompt response from our local police. - Dr. Miller

Dear parents of Westview School Corporation Students,
During Spring Break, we updated to a new lunch program at all K-12 buildings. All of the current student balances have been transferred over to the new system. We will continue to accept cash/check deposits for student lunch accounts. However, we now have a new site for you to make lunch balance payments online.
That new site is https://family.titank12.com. Once you are on the site you will need to make a new account. The link can also be found on our website under the Breakfast/Lunch Information section.
Click on “Sign up today!” to begin the process of making that account and be sure to have the following information to successfully link your student(s) to your account:
First Name
Last Name
