Happy Veterans Day to all of the brave men and women who served our nation. Thank you!

We had a lot going on last week! Our first graders went on a field trip to Ethos Science Center, and our second graders had a fun dress up day after learning about tall tales and fairy tales. Take a look!

We've been in school for 50 days already! Time sure flies when you're having fun! To celebrate, we dressed up like the 1950s and enjoyed some delicious root beer floats!

Don't forget!

Westview will host a Ronald McDonald Care Mobile Wellness Event on Wednesday, December 11th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Appointments are required.

Our second graders participated in Camp Read-A-Lot last week. A lot of fun was had with special guest readers, working and reading in their tents, and even going on a bear hunt!

"Life is a movie, film it drug free!" Students had a great time walking the "red carpet" this week for Red Ribbon Week!

Just a reminder.....

Today our Scottie Buddies painted pumpkins together!

Big thanks to local firefighter Lyle Wingard for taking the time to discuss fire safety with the first and third graders last week!

Last weekend we had our annual school-wide skating party! What a blast!

Tomorrow is National Teddy Bear Day!

Here is a little glimpse of October so far at SES!
Field trips, art projects, Workout Wednesday, Scottie Buddies, and surprise guest readers!

Happy custodian appreciation day!

Scottie Buddies has begun! This is such a great way for our 4th graders to show off their leadership skills and be good role models for our kindergarteners!

Shipshe Scott's fourth graders had a beautiful day to take a trip back in time to Sauder Village. Students were able to visit the Native and Newcomers, the village green, which was made up of various shops and buildings, and businesses from the 1920's.
