This week's All-Star Spotlight has been shining on the one and only Lindsay Swanson! Lindsay has been our school nurse at Shipshe-Scott for 6 years! Whether she's treating minor injuries, managing health concerns, or simply offering comforting words, she approaches every situation with kindness and professionalism. We are incredibly grateful for her hard work, expertise, and the genuine care she shows to everyone she helps. Here's what she had to say about why she loves Shipshe-Scott: "I love our fierce leader that always has our backs, our irreplaceable secretary/security guard that keeps us all safe, organized, and laughing, and our staff that works well together to ensure the best for our students, and our students that put smiles on our faces every day!!" Thank you for everything you do, Mrs. Swanson!

Our All-Star Spotlight this week goes to Carlie Cripe! Carlie is our art teacher here at Shipshe-Scott. Carlie is wonderfully creative and one of the kindest people you will meet! Outside of teaching art, Carlie enjoys reading, being creative, and remodeling houses with her husband. Fun fact: she originally went to school for nursing! I think it's safe to say we are all pretty grateful she changed her mind! When asked what she loves most about Shipshe-Scott, Carlie said: "The people and the kids!" Thank you, Mrs. Cripe for everything you do!!

Last week our All-Star Spotlight was shining on Talandra Neff! Talandra is our special education teacher for grades 3 and 4. Talandra has taken on many roles not only at Shipshe-Scott, but also in her career as an educator! We are so lucky to have her pouring into our students. She gives 110% to her students, and also to her coworkers whenever we need her advice (which is quite often!). When asked what she loves about Shipshe-Scott, Talandra said: "I love that all the staff is kind to one another and we respect each other. All the staff care about the students and each other. Shipshe-Scott is a great place to work because there is no drama!" Thank you, Mrs. Neff for everything you do!!

This week's All-Star Spotlight has been shining on the wonderful Chelsea Miller! Chelsea is currently one of our kindergarten teachers. Chelsea is a Scottie through and through! She attended SES for elementary school and has now been a teacher here for 2 years! Along with being an amazing teacher, Chelsea also enjoys ceramics, hiking, and baking. When asked why she loves Shipshe-Scott, Chelsea said: "I love the way the staff comes together to support each other and our students. I also love seeing the growth the kids make. The kids grow up so fast and being able to see and be a part of that really feels like a blessing." Thanks for everything you do, Mrs. Miller!!
