On Monday Topeka's Student advisory hosted the quarter one awards where we honored students for both academic and behavior achievements. We even had a skit written and performed by a group of fourth graders! We are so proud of all that our Topeka Bears have accomplished!

2A wrapped up their final Greek unit. They had a Greek dinner with Olives, olive crackers, grapes, pita chips with gyro meat. They listened to the national anthem of Greece, visited the Parthenon and play bingo with all the terms they learned. How fun!
Congratulations Topeka Bears for completing the first nine weeks of the 2025-2026 school year! We will be celebrating our first quarter accomplishments on Monday! Report cards will be sent home on Wednesday October 15th!

Last Wednesday 1st graders traveled to Potawatomi Zoo in South Bend for their study trip!

4th graders wrapped up CKLA Unit 1-Personal Narratives with an author's cafe! Students got to read the narratives their classmates wrote while enjoying a special drink and treat from 'Starbucks'!

Westview School Corporation is on a 2-hour delay today, Friday, September 26th.
In honor of their CKLA study on Ancient Greek Civilization, 2A hosted a mini Olympics that began with a parade of nations! They kicked off the competition with discus throwing, continued with chariot racing, and ended with a foot race. The students received gold, silver and bronze medals. After their competition, they went inside to try olives 🫒.
On Tuesday the Fort Wayne Museum of Art visited Topeka for a fun on site field trip! Students enjoyed art involving all types of animals!
