Mr. Stump's class recently studied changes in matter and how heat energy works. They had a contest to build the best cooler to see how long they could make their ice last. Each student measured the mass of their ice and the volume of the melt water to determine their cooler performance. Their study of Thermodynamics was pretty COOL. Thanks to all of the parents that helped out with the construction process.

Westview Elementary just held their annual Nelson's BBQ Chicken fundraiser on Friday, Oct. 3rd. The 5th and 6th grade classes sold over 5,000 halves of chicken to help raise funds for their Indianapolis and Chicago field trips in April.
This year's top selling classes were Mrs. Sheets 5th grade class and Mrs. McCoy's 6th grade class! Thank you all for helping us make this year's Chicken Sales a success!
