Eighth grade students taking Introduction to Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources showed their potato progress so far this summer. The potato plants are looking good. We look forward to enjoying all the potatoes students have grown in a few weeks!

State Champion! Silas Haarer is the Indiana State PGA Jr. Champion for 2025! He earned first place in a two day tournament shooting -4 (68) day one and -5 (67) day two. This is the second year Silas has won this tournament. He has earned a chance to compete in the National PGA Jr. Championship held at Purdue University July 29 - August 1st, a prestigious tournament for Junior Golf. Congratulations, Silas!

The first round of semi-finals for baseball will be played at Oak Hill on June 14th at 2:00 pm. Westview will face Boone Grove and the winner will play again at 7:00 pm. We hope you can make it out to support the team!
The Marching Warriors made their season debut yesterday at the Bremen Fireman’s Festival Parade! They performed very well, and the crowd's enthusiastic applause and positive comments made it a great experience. The next parade is in North Webster on June 21st for the Mermaid Festival. Hope to see you there!
Track & Field State Meet Recap: Noah Bontrager was the State Champion in both the 1600 meter and the 3200 meter and set the new State meet record in the 1600. He also broke both Westview school records in those races. Curtis Miller jumped a 14'3" at State and placed 14th. Adelyn Rainsberger ran the 800 meter dash in 2:17.11 and placed 20th overall. Well done, Warriors!
The Varsity boys golf team is carrying on the record-breaking torch for Westview. Not only did the team win Sectionals on Friday, they broke the school record with a 301. Senior Silas Haarer also broke the individual school record, the Sectional record, and tied the Meadow Valley Golf Course record with a score of 63, which is 9 below par! Incredible work!
SECTIONAL CHAMPIONS! Westview Varsity Boys Golf won Sectionals on Friday, June 6, at Meadow Valley Golf Course. Silas Haarer was the individual Sectional Champion, and Luke Haarer was the individual runner-up. Congratulations to the entire team and best of luck at Regionals on Thursday, June 12, at Stonehenge Golf Course.
