2025 NECC Tourney Champs! Congratulations to the high school varsity boys basketball team on winning the tourney last night.


Congratulations to the 2025 Scholastic Art Award winners! Four students received high honors at the 2025 Scholastic Art competition.
Alexzander Sanchez (left) received a Gold Key for a multi layered screen print.
Charlie Duke (back center) received an Honorable Mention for an Etching project.
Clarinda Byler (front center) received two Silver Key awards for her paintings.
Amanda Hershberger (right) received an Honorable Mention for a drawing and a Silver Key for an etching project.
Alex's work will go on to be judged at the National level in March. All of the students' work will be displayed at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art as a part of the Scholastic Art Exhibit beginning in February.

Westview Junior Noah Bontrager placed 16th in the Foot Locker Nationals race in San Diego, California earlier today (12/14/24). The fastest 10 individuals from each of the 4 regions in the United States (40 runners in total) qualified to run today's race. The Midwest team, which Noah was on, placed first to get the All-American team title! Noah was 7th runner on the Midwest team. Congratulations on your incredible accomplishments this season!

Congratulations to four Juniors for being named Rising Stars of Indiana. They were identified by their academic accomplishments, all being near the top of their class. They also are very involved with extracurriculars and are people of high character: Madison Grossman, Brett Springer, Jordyn Wasson, and Bentley Ryall.


Earlier today, (12/7/24) Junior Noah Bontrager placed 19th at the Nike Cross Nationals race in Portland, Oregon, competing against 197 others in his race on a muddy, rainy course. The nearly 200 runners were determined by the 8 Regional Qualifying meets held across the country in November. Noah qualified by running the Nike Midwest Regional in Terre Haute, Indiana on November 17, where he placed 3rd. Congratulations, Noah!
