Mrs. Miller's first grade class at Topeka Elementary enjoyed a camping day in their classroom on Friday. They worked on math activities using marshmallows, enjoyed reading in a tent that was set up, and they did a lot of activities sitting around the campfire.

A note from the Superintendent, Dr. Miller....................... If we would happen to cancel school before Monday, Feb. 17th (snow make-up day), then we will be going to school on that day. If we miss school on or after Feb. 17th up to Mar. 19th, then we will go to school on Mar. 20th (snow make-up day). We can't predict the future with weather so we will take the opportunity to use the built in school calendar days if we have prior cancellations. This concept will also apply for the two days prior to Spring Break.
